48 z + 3.6 = 1.2
⇒ 4.8z + 3.6 - 3.6 = 1.2 - 3.6 ...(Substracting 3.6 from both sides)
⇒ 4.8z = - 2.4
⇒ `"4.8z"/4.8 = (- 2.4)/4.8` ..(Dividing by 4.8)
∴ z = `(-1)/2 = - 0.5`
