(x – 3) (2x + 5) = 0

(x – 3) (2x + 5) = 0
Either x – 3 = 0,
Then x = 3
or
2x + 5 = 0 then 2x = -5
⇒ x = `(-5)/(2)`
Hence x = 3, = `(-5)/(2)`.
