Solution

C . P of saree = Rs . 1240

S . P of saree = Rs . 1147

Loss = CP - SP

Loss = Rs . (1240 - 1147)

= Rs . 93

\[\text { loss % } = \left( \frac{\text { loss } \times 100}{\text { C . P } .} \right)\]

\[ = \left( \frac{93 \times 100}{1240} \right)\]

\[ = 7 . 5 \]%
