Fewer  girls are sent to school than boys. They get less medical care, so many girls die. Boys get more nutritious food and also much time to play . Fewer  jobs are open to girls, and even if they are employed, they are not paid , as much as boys. Most of all, they get less respect. They are not given as many opportunities as boys tospeak out on matters that concern them. And yet a girl usually does twice as much  work as a boy, not only in the house but also in the fields.
