Solution
An Inspiring Incident in the Life of Mahatma Gandhi
Good morning, everyone!
I would like to share a motivational story from the life of our nation's father, Mahatma Gandhi, today. His journey as a leader of truth and non-violence began with this incident, which happened in South Africa.
Gandhiji was on board a train in South Africa in 1893. Because he was Indian and therefore was unable to seat in the first-class compartment, he was ejected off the train at Pietermaritzburg station even though he had a first-class ticket. Gandhiji was greatly offended by this act of racial discrimination, yet he decided not to respond violently or angrily. He made the decision to oppose injustice using truth and non-violence rather than hatred.
Gandhi's life was changed by this event, which inspired him to defend the rights of those who were oppressed. The seed eventually developed into the strong idea of Satyagraha, the force of truth and non-violence, which later served as a compass in India's struggle for independence.
We may respond to injustice with respect and courage, as this story shows. Millions of people all throughout the world are still motivated by Gandhi's firm commitment to morality.
Thank you!
