We know that log 2 = 0.3010 and log 3 = 0.4771
log 12
= log 2 x 2 x 3
= log 2 x 2 + log 3 ...[ logamn = logam + logan ]
= log22 + log3
= 2log2 + log 3 ...[ nlogam = logamn ]
= 2( 0.3010 ) + 0.4771 ...[ ∵ log 2 = 0.3010 and log3 = 0.4771 ]
= 1.0791
