Ideal Gas Real Gas
An ideal gas is a hypothetical gas that obeys all gas laws exactly under all temperature and pressure conditions. A real gas is an actual gas that does not obey the gas laws exactly under all conditions.
The molecules have negligible volume. The molecules have a definite volume.
There are no intermolecular forces between the molecules. Intermolecular forces exist between the molecules.
It obeys the ideal gas equation PV = nRT exactly. It deviates from PV = nRT, especially at high pressure and low temperature.
The ideal model cannot be liquefied. A real gas can be liquefied by suitable changes in temperature and pressure.
