  2. Brazil is home to 2.78% of the world’s population and 5.6% of its total land area.
  3. Additionally, Brazil’s population growth rate is decreasing as the country attempts to manage its population.

Due to the above reasons, the population density of Brazil is relatively small, which is 23 individuals per sq. km. as per the 2010 census.
