Duplicate ratio of 5 : 6 = 25 : 36
Reciprocal ratio of 25 : 42 = 42 : 25
Sub-duplicate ratio of 36 : 49 = 6 : 7
Required compound ratio = `(25 xx 42 xx 6)/(36 xx 25 xx 7)` = 1 : 1
