Find the perimeter of a rectangle whose:
length = 8 m and breadth = 80 cm

Solution
length = 8 m and
breadth = 80 cm
Length = 8 m
Breadth = 80 cm
`=80/100 = 0.8 "m"`
∴ Perimeter = 2 (length + breadth)
= 2 (8 m + 0.8m)
= 2 x 8.8 m = 17.6 m
