∴ −16z + 20z3 = −1 (2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × z) + (2 × 2 × 5 × z × z × z)
= (2 × 2 × z) [−1 (2 × 2) + (5 × z × z)]
= 4z (− 4 + 5z2)
