Uses in medical field:
(i) Rays from Radium produce satisfactorily improvement in skin diseases.
(ii) Radiation from Co60 is used in cancer treatment.
(iii) Radio I131 is used to diagnose and treat thyroid disorders.
Uses in agriculture:
