Solution

  Glycolysis Fermentation
1. Glycolysis occurs during aerobic and anaerobic respiration. Fermentation is a type of anaerobic respiration.
2. Pyruvic acid is produced as its end product. Ethanol or lactic acid, is produced as its end product.
3. It forms 2 APT molecules per gulcose molecule. It does not produce ATP.
4. It is the initial stage of respiration that happens without the need for oxygen and is present in both aerobic and anaerobic respiration types. It's called anaerobic respiration, or respiration without oxygen.
5. For every glucose molecule, it generates two molecules of NADH. Usually, it makes use of the NADH generated during glycolysis.
