Solution
Given:
- AB = 4.5 cm
- BC = 6 cm
- ∠B = 60°
Steps of Construction:
- Draw the line segment BC = 6 cm.
- At point B, construct an angle of 60°.
- From point B on the ray forming the 60° angle, cut off a segment BA = 4.5 cm.
- Join point A to point C.
- With A as center and radius BC = 6 cm, draw an arc.
- With C as center and radius AB = 4.5 cm, draw another arc to intersect the first arc at point D.
- Join points A to D and C to D.
ABCD is the required parallelogram with sides AB = 4.5 cm, BC = 6 cm and angle ∠B = 60°.
