Solution
Given:
- AB = 3.5 cm
- BC = 5.5 cm
- ∠B = 75°
Steps of Construction:
- Draw the side BC = 5.5 cm.
- At point B, construct ∠B = 75° using a protractor.
- From point B, along the line forming the 75° angle, mark point A such that AB = 3.5 cm.
- With A as center and radius BC = 5.5 cm, draw an arc.
- With C as center and radius AB = 3.5 cm, draw another arc to intersect the arc drawn from A. Mark the intersection point as D.
- Join AD and CD to complete the parallelogram ABCD.
Thus, ABCD is the required parallelogram with AB = 3.5 cm, BC = 5.5 cm and ∠B = 75°.
