Given: Atomic mass of nitrogen = 14 u

We know:

1 u = 1.66 × 10−24 g

1. Mass of one atom of nitrogen = 14 × 1.66 × 10−24

= 2.324 × 10−23 g​

2. Mass of one molecule of nitrogen (N2):

A nitrogen molecule contains 2 nitrogen atoms.

Molecular mass of N2 ​= 2 × 14 = 28 u

= 28 × 1.66 × 10−24

= 4.648 × 10−23 g​
