Let number of squares having side 1 cm = x
According to the question,
Area of side 6 m square = Area of side 1 cm square ...[∵ Area of square = (Side)2]
∴ (6 m)2 = x × (1 cm)2 ...[∵ 1 m = 100 cm]
⇒ (600 cm)2 = x × (1 cm)2
⇒ 360000 cm2 = x cm2
⇒ x = 360000
