Solution
Both Rajvir and Valli are driven by curiosity and a desire to explore life beyond their immediate surroundings. In “Tea from Assam”, Rajvir shows keen interest in learning about tea plantations. He observes the vast tea gardens, listens carefully to Pranjol’s father, and gains knowledge about tea production and its history, which broadens his understanding of the world.
Similarly, in “Madam Rides the Bus”, Valli’s strong determination leads her to take a bus ride alone. She carefully plans her journey and observes everything with excitement. However, seeing the dead cow on the road makes her realise the harsh realities of life. Thus, both journeys shape their awareness and maturity.
