Solution
Side of a cube (a) = 6.5 m
Total surface area of the cube = 6a2 sq.units
= 6 × 6.5 × 6.5 sq.m
= 253.50 sq.m
Cost of painting for 1 sq.m = ₹ 24
Cost of painting for 253.5 sq.m = 253.5 × 24
= ₹ 6084
∴ Area to be painted = 253.50 m2
Total cost of painting = ₹ 6084
