उत्तर
The function of a transducer is to convert one form of energy into another form. A microphone at the transmitting station is one of the examples of a transducer.
The function of a repeater is to regenerate the signal which can be transmitted forward. A repeater is a combination of a receiver, amplifier, and a transmitter. A repeater receives the signal, amplifies it and then retransmits it forward.

What is the function of a bandpass filter used in a modulator for obtaining AM signal?
A 1 KW signal is transmitted using a communication channel which provides attenuation at the rate of – 2dB per km. If the communication channel has a total length of 5 km, the power of the signal received is `["gain in dB" = 10 log ("P"_0/"P"_"i")]`
