My parents have enforced a severe regulation that limits my daily television viewing to one hour. Since my classmates' families did not have this restriction, I used to dislike it at first when I was a child. However, I now see that my parents were correct in instilling discipline and the importance of balancing work and play. I could play, study, watch TV, and still have time for another pastime. I learned how to manage my time effectively through this habit.
