उत्तर

Length of the two parallel sides of a trapezium are 8.5 cm and 11.5 cm respectively and its height is 4.2 cm.
We know that,
Area of trapezium = `1/2` × (sum of parallel sides) × height
= `1/2` × (8.5 + 11.5) × 4.2
= `1/2` × 20 × 4.2
= 10 × 4.2 = 42.0
= 42 cm²
