The general solution of tan θ = tan α is 
θ = nπ + α, n ∈ Z
Now, cot θ = 0   
∴ tan θ does not exist
∴ tan θ = `tan  pi/(2)         ...[∵ tan  pi/(2)` does not exist]
∴ the required general solution is

θ = nπ + `pi/(2)`, n ∈ Z.
