उत्तर

  1. Electric motor
  2. It operates on the magnetic effect of electric current, which states that when a current-carrying conductor is placed in a magnetic field, it receives a force and begins to rotate.
  3. Fleming's left-hand rule.
  4. According to this rule, the left-hand thumb, index finger, and middle finger are stretched so as to be perpendicular to each other. If the index finger is in the direction of the magnetic field, and the middle finger points in the direction of the current, then the direction of the thumb is the direction of the force on the conductor.
  5. It is used in fans, refrigerators, mixers, washing machines, computers, pumps, etc.
