- Learn about risks, follow manufacturer’s instructions and use products safely.

- Assert yourself to ensure a fair deal.
- Be honest in dealings and discourage black-marketing and hoarding.

- File complaints in consumer forums even if the amount involved is small.
- Form consumer societies to educate and protect consumers.
