Film - Enola Holmes

Cast - Milli Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, Sam Claflin, Louis Partridge, Helena Bonham Carter

Director - Harry Bradbeer

"Enola Holmes" is based on Nancy Springer's "The Enola Holmes Mysteries." It's a work of fiction featuring a variety of topics, including mystery, adventure, a dash of feminism, and a whole lot of fun. The storey takes place in nineteenth-century England, where women were expected to conform to social norms. Women wore corsets, bonnets, top hats, bustles, and petticoats, just as they did in the nineteenth century, and men wore frock coats and straight trouses.

Following the success of hit, television shows such as "Fleabag" and "Killing Eve," director Harry Bradbeer presents us "Enola Holmes," an action-adventure film. During the epidemic, it was the most-watched film on the internet, and in 2020, it was the seventh-most-searched film on Google worldwide.

The protagonist's name is the same as the title of the film. Millie Bobby Brown is the actress who plays her. Her brothers Sherlock (Henry Cavill) and Mycroft Holmes (Sam Claflin) are major figures in her life, as are Lord Tewksbury (Louis Partridge), a worthless but amiable man, and her mother Eudoria Holmes (Helena Bonham Carter).

Enola is the youngest of the famed Holmes family's sibilings. She is incredibly brilliant, perceptive, and intuitive, confounding social expectations for women at the period. She wakes up on her 16th birthday to find her mother has vanished, and she is placed in the care of her famous detective brothers, Sherlock and Mycroft, who have sent her to a school for "decent" young girls. She finally makes it to London and finds her mother. Her voyage, however, leads her into a mystery involving a young runaway Viscount Tewkebury. Enola becomes a super sleuth in her own right as the film goes, and she saves the lord from scheming. She finds her mother and the reason for her absence when she returns to her lodgings. Enola has finally found her independence and her calling.

To summarise, it is a highly recommended film for people of all ages because it is entertaining.
