उत्तर
L.C. of vernier callipers = 0.01 cm
In the shown scale,
Main scale reading = 3.3 cm
The 6th vernier division coincides with an m.s.d.
Therefore, vernier scale reading = 6 × 0.01 cm = 0.06 cm
Total reading = M.S.R. + V.S.R.
= 3.3 + 0.06
= 3.36 cm
