- Simple goitre (due to iodine deficiency),

- Myxoedema (sluggishness and swelling in adults).
4. Hyperthyroidism leads to exophthalmic goitre with symptoms like protruding eyes, neck swelling, high metabolism, rapid heartbeat, and breathlessness.
