PROPOSAL FOR ORGANISING TREE PLANTATION DRIVE

Introduction: Given how much damage is being done to the environment, it is imperative that we protect it through environmentally friendly actions. Since this is the 10th anniversary of The Nature Pals Club, we want to encourage people to plant trees to make the area greener.

Objective:

1. To make people more aware of how important it is to protect nature
2. To provide a salubrious environment for healthy living
3. To motivate youngsters and grown-ups to pitch in their effort to the cause of the environment

List of Measures:

• Date and venue: The initiative will be flagged off by the Honourable Health Minister from the University stadium at 11 am on 5th June, marking World Environment Day.
• Participants: Students, teachers, and volunteers, along with officials of the Nature Pals committee.
• Arrangement: Saplings, tools for plantation, and organic fertilizers will be arranged by local nurseries.

Maintenance: A team of volunteers will be tasked with monitoring the mission’s success.

Expected outcomes:

• A greener and healthier environment
