Subject: Proposal for organizing ‘Go Green Campaign’ on World Environment Day

Respected Sir/Madam,

I, Harpreet, Eco Club In-charge, wish to propose the organization of a ‘Go Green Campaign’ in our school on the occasion of World Environment Day. The campaign aims to create awareness among students and the community about environmental conservation and sustainable living.

We plan to conduct several hands-on activities such as tree plantation within the school premises and nearby areas, designing and maintaining school gardens, and organizing clean-up drives in the neighbourhood. These activities will encourage students to take responsibility for their environment and develop a sense of civic duty.

Additionally, we would like to organize poster-making, slogan-writing, and quiz competitions on environmental themes to promote creativity and awareness. To make the event more impactful, we propose involving parents and local community members in the tree plantation and clean-up activities. This collaboration will strengthen community bonds and spread the message of environmental protection beyond the school campus.
