17 Rupees = 1700 paise (Rs 1 = 100 paise)
25 Rupees 60 paise = 25 Rupees + 60 paise = 2500 paise + 60 paise = 2560 paise
∴ Ratio of 17 Rupees to 25 Rupees 60 paise
= 1700 paise : 2560 paise
= `1700/2560`
= `[1700 ÷ 20]/[ 2560 ÷ 20]` ...(HCF of 1700 and 2560 = 20)
= `85/128`
= 85 : 128
