To me, democracy means a system where every citizen has equal rights, freedom and a voice in decision-making. As a young citizen, I believe democracy gives us the freedom to express our opinions and respect the views of others. It teaches us the importance of equality, justice, participation and responsibility. I can contribute to democracy by following laws, staying informed, helping others and participating in community activities. I should also respect diversity and resolve disagreements peacefully. In this way, I can become a responsible citizen and contribute to a stronger and fairer society.
