Dear Mom and Dad,

I know this letter may come as a surprise because I do not write to you very often. However, I wanted to share something important with you, and I felt that a letter would be the best way to express my feelings.

I sincerely thank both of you for the valuable advice you gave me when I was confused about my misunderstanding with Gauresh. Without your guidance, I might have ended my friendship with him. I was afraid to speak to him because I had forgotten his birthday. Your advice to be honest and apologise for my mistake gave me the confidence to talk to him. After our conversation, I discovered that he was completely unaware of my accident. I understood that situations can be viewed differently by different people, and both of us believed that we were right. This experience taught me that discussing misunderstandings openly is far better than ending a friendship without knowing the truth.

I am truly thankful that I followed your advice. I feel fortunate to have parents who understand me so well and whom I can trust with all my problems. Thank you for your constant love, support, and wise guidance.

Your loving son,
Tanmay
