Dear Mom and Dad,
I know you will be surprised to receive this letter, since I don’t write to you very often. I actually wanted to tell you something very important and thought that writing a letter would be the best way to express myself.
I want to thank both of you for the precious advice you gave me about my misunderstanding with Roshan. If you had not guided me, I think I would have distanced myself from him. I did not have the courage to speak to him about forgetting his birthday. It was only because of your encouraging advice to say the truth and apologise for my mistake that I spoke to him and realised that he did not know about my accident at all. Perhaps, it is not always about right and wrong. Each of us had a different perspective about the same thing and both of us thought that we were right. I realised that it is really necessary to talk and clear issues, than to stop being friends.
I am really grateful that I took your advice. I am glad that you understand me so well that I can share everything with you. Thank you for always offering me with valuable guidance.
Your loving son,
Tushar
