When I look at the picture, I think of the family’s simple farm, which is tucked away in a quiet part of the town. Their small piece of land is how they make a living, and the brinjals they’re picking are more than just a crop; they’re a sign of hope and a way for them and their community to stay alive. For each brinjal picked from the vines, it reflects the work of the whole family, from the mom to the kids, who all did their part in tough conditions.
