Without solving, comment upon the nature of roots of the following equation:

25x2 − 10x + 1 = 0

25x2 − 10x + 1 = 0

a = 25, b = −10 and c = 1

∴ Discriminant = b2 – 4ac

= (−10)2 − 4(25)(1)

= 100 – 100

= 0

Since D = 0, then equation has real and equal roots.
