With reference to the judiciary, what is meant by the term ‘impeachment’?

1. The President may dismiss a judge from office if it is determined that the judge is unable or has acted inappropriately.
2. When an address from each house of parliament, approved by the majority of its total membership and by the majority of at least two-thirds of its present and voting members, is given to the president, the procedure for his removal can begin. We call this process impeachment.
