Solution

We do not feel the pressure of the atmosphere because air exerts pressure on our body from all directions, and this is balanced by the pressure inside our body. The gases and fluids within our body push outward with nearly equal pressure, balancing the atmospheric pressure. Therefore, there is no significant net force on our body, so we do not normally feel the weight of the atmosphere. We may notice changes in pressure in special situations, such as at high altitudes or deep underwater.
