We know that if a square circumscribes a circle, then the side of the square is equal to the diameter of the circle.
∴ Side of Square = 2a
Now, Perimeter of the square = 4 ⨯ Side of square = 4 ⨯ 2a = 8a cm
Hence, the perimeter of the square is 8a cm.
