Health education is a continuous process of informing and motivating people to achieve and maintain good health. It aims to improve health knowledge, attitudes, skills and behaviour and encourages healthy lifestyle and environmental changes.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), health education consists of learning experiences that help individuals and communities improve their health by increasing their knowledge and influencing their attitudes.

Example: Teaching students about balanced nutrition, personal hygiene, regular exercise and disease prevention encourages them to adopt healthy habits and maintain good health.
