What fraction is to be subtracted from `9 3/7` to get `3 1/5`?

Solution
`9 3/7` − (The number to be subtracted) = `3 1/5`
∴ `9 3/7 - 3 1/5` = The number to be subtracted
∴ The number to be subtracted = `(9 + 3/7) - (3 + 1/5)`
= `(9 - 3) + (3/7 - 1/5)`
= `6 + (((3 xx 5) - (1 xx 7))/(7 xx 5))`
= `6 + ((15 - 7)/35)`
= `6 + 8/35`
∴ The fraction to be subtracted = `6 8/35`
