War is all about insecurity, destruction and deaths. How can a war make anyone secure?

War can sometimes provide security only as a last resort, for example, in self-defence, resisting aggression or stopping genocide. A country may use military force to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity or deter an attack. However, war also causes deaths, destruction and insecurity; hence, peaceful methods, negotiations and cooperation should always be preferred before using force.
