Solution
Instruction: Observe ten different organisms in a nearby park or water body. Record their names and classify them into the appropriate kingdoms based on their characteristics.
Suggestion/Hint: Look for plants, animals, fungi, algae and microorganisms. Classify them into Monera, Protista, Fungi, Plantae and Animalia based on their cell structure, body organisation and mode of nutrition.
Example: A lotus belongs to Kingdom Plantae because it is multicellular and photosynthetic, while a fish belongs to Kingdom Animalia because it is multicellular and heterotrophic.
The following organisms may be observed in and around a park or water body and classified into different kingdoms.
