Question
Verify whether the following are zeros of the polynomial indicated against them, or not
p(x) = 2x − 1, x = `1/2`
Advertisements
Solution
p(x) = 2x − 1, x = `1/2`
`"p"(1/2) = 2(1/2) - 1`
= 1 – 1
= 0
∴ `1/2` is the zero of the polynomial.
