Solution

Steps of Construction are as follows:

  • Draw BC = 7 cm.
  • With B as the centre, draw an arc of radius 6 cm.
  • With C as centre, draw an arc of radius 5 cm, cutting the previous arc at A.
  • Join AB and AC to form ΔABC.
  • Draw the perpendicular bisector of AB.
  • Draw the perpendicular bisector of AC.
  • Let the bisectors meet at O (circumcentre).
  • With O as centre and radius OA, draw a circle.
  • This is the circumcircle of ΔABC.
