Solution

Number of all possible outcomes = 36

Let E be the event of getting all those numbers whose product is 12.

These numbers are (2, 6), (3, 4), (4, 3) and (6, 2).

∴ P(getting all those numbers whose product is 12) = P(E) =`"Number of outcome favourable to E"/"Number of all possible outcomes"`

`=4/36 = 1/9 `

Thus, the probability of getting all those numbers whose product is 12 is `1/9`
