Total cost of fencing the park shown in the following figure is Rs 55000. Find the cost of fencing per metre.

Perimeter of ABCDEFA = Sum of all sides
= AB + BC + CD + DE + EF + FA
= (150 + 100 + 120 + 180 + 270 + 280) m
= 1100 m
Total cost = ₹ 55000 ...[Given]
Now, cost of fencing per metre
= `"Total cost"/"Perimeter"`
= `55000/1100`
= ₹ 50
