The sides of a rectangle are 5 cm and 3 cm respectively. Find its area in mm2.

Solution
Length of a rectangle = 5cm
Breadth of a rectangle = 3cm
∴ Area of a rectangle
= Length x Breadth
= 5cm x 3cm
= 15 x 100mm2
= 1500mm2.
