Solution
The Jataka tales and the Tripitaka. The Jatakas tales written in Pali language refer to the previous birth of Lord Buddha. They also throw light .on the political, economic, and social conditions ranging from fifth to second century BC. The Tripitaka (three baskets or books) is a traditional term used by various Buddhist sects to describe their various covers of scriptures. As the name suggests, a Tripitaka traditionally contains three baskets of teachings.
