∵ Sum of two rational number = `11/24`
one of them = `3/8`
∴ The other rational number = `11/24 - 3/8`
`= 11/24 - (3 xx 3)/(8 xx 3) = 11/24 - 9/24`
`= (11 - 9)/24 = 2/24 = 1/12`
