Solution

(i) Haber's process

(ii) 1 : 3 by volume (1 volume of pure Nitrogen gas and 3 volumes of pure Hydrogen gas)

(iii) Finely divided iron (Fe) or Iron oxide (Fe2O3)

(iv) \[\ce{N2 + 3H2 <=> 2NH3 + Heat}\]

(v) When ammonia is passed over heated metallic black copper oxide, it reduces it to reddish-brown metallic copper.

\[\ce{2NH3 + 3CuO -> 3Cu + 3H2O + N2 ^}\]
